All About Grace
I finished my flower girl many months ago and have lovingly named her Grace. I was filled with a surge of emotions, tears flowing freely after I stepped back and spent some quiet moments with her by myself. I wept and poured out my gratitude to God so much for the precious hours he granted me today to complete her with very little pain this afternoon. For those who may not know me personally, I am an introvert and a deep thinker; I love the Lord deeply, and I seek Him in everything I do. As a creative individual, I pursue Him on my canvas, and with paintbrush in hand, I strive to convey my profound love for His word and how it sustains me each day. I aim to remind myself and others that He is ever-present in our lives. My prayer always is that my work uplifts someone's spirit, particularly if they are feeling down and out, and to remind them that they are truly never alone.
When I begin a new painting, it is usually inspired by a verse that resonates with me during one of my personal studies, and Grace was birthed from the profound message found in Isaiah 40:8, which states, "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." Flowers are mentioned in the Bible often, serving as powerful references for analogies and parables. Scripture calls out to the beauty and divine providence evident in their growth and bloom, which serves to inspire us to live our lives filled with faith and trust in the Lord. Trusting God throughout my illness and treatments has been a challenging lesson for me, but the more I immerse myself in God’s word, the more insight and revelations I gain, leading to an abundance of peace and understanding that fills my soul. May we all bloom like the flowers and be shining examples of God's grace to the world around us! Now, she needs to dry for about a week or so before I apply the varnish to protect her beauty. I truly hope she brings you a bit of joy. Additionally, I added a lovely Swarovski crystal to serve as an earring, adding just the right touch of elegance.
